What does R-Value mean?
A certain insulation will achieve different R-Value depending upon the thickness and density of the product. The higher the R-Value the greater resistance to heat.
Why Insulate?
The roof, exterior walls and exposed floors are insulated to create a cocoon around the structure. The higher the R-Value installed in these three critical areas creates a thermal barrier to keep heat in during the winter and heat out during the summer.
Insulation conserves energy when heating or cooling a structure. Insulation helps the utilities lower their use of producing energy which creates a greener earth to live in.
